What is it? Lunch Bunch is an extended day program available to students approximately six sessions per month. Each child brings a Peanut Free healthy lunch and a drink and enjoys social/playtime supervised by staff members.

How much is it? $22.00 per day (exact change required) or a check made out to KSPC or pay by credit card. Please use a separate check for each class you are signing up for (do not combine several Lunch Bunch payments into 1 check). Payment MUST be received when you sign up for a space. Names will be removed for lack of immediate payment and given to the next person on the wait list. In fairness to all, your child’s name will be removed if payment has not been made upon sign up.

When is it? All dates are on a Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. Wednesday and Thursday sessions will be in the afternoon from 11:45-3:00. Friday will have both a morning session and an afternoon session. The morning session is from 9:00-12:30 and the afternoon session is from 11:45-3:00. The following dates for lunch bunch are:

*Dates below have am or pm session indicated
Mar. 1pm, 2am, 7pm, 14pm, 16pm, 21pm, 23am
Apr. 4pm, 6pm, 11pm, 18pm, 19pm, 20am, 25pm, 27pm
May 2pm, 4am, 9pm, 11pm, 16pm, 17pm, 18am
** You may sign your child up for any session. Your child can attend on his/her regular school day or attend on a day that he/she does not regularly attend school.

How do I sign up? Sign up sheets will be posted on the hallway bulletin board about a week prior to lunch bunch. Space is limited, and sign ups are on a first come first serve basis only. Payment envelopes will be available with the sign up sheets. All payments must include the child’s name, date of lunch bunch and amount paid. Please put the envelope with your payments into the box labeled LUNCH BUNCH in Mrs. Augustine’s office under the tuition box. Unless space permits, only ONE lunch bunch per session per child per week is available. If fewer than five people sign up lunch bunch will be cancelled.

Helpful Tips:
*If the sign up sheet is full, put your child’s name on the wait list. Be sure to make your payment so that your child can assume any vacant spot.

*Some children are not quite ready for lunch bunch in the beginning of the year. Please be sure your child is fully toilet trained and is ready to spend the extended day away from home before you sign up. A good way to start may be on a non-school day to allow for the experience with a shorter day.

*Please leave a local emergency contact for your child that can reach school within 10 minutes.

*Please indicate on the sign up sheet if your child has ANY ALLERGIES.

*If your child is to be absent on a lunch bunch day for which you have registered and paid, notify the school. In the event your child’s slot can be filled from the wait list, your payment will be returned to you. NO credits will be issued.
*Lunch bunch is a terrific benefit the staff members offer you and your children. Enjoy a little time off! Any questions or concerns contact KSPC at 610-444-1553.
